Social Responsibility
Renewable energy
One of MED TRUST’s aims is to reduce its dependence on non-renewable resources and CO2 emissions. We have therefore installed a photovoltaic system with a total output of 394 kWp on the company’s own buildings.
There are 14 e-charging stations for MED TRUST company cars at the Marz site. With our energy storage system (stand-alone solution), we can continue operations as normal even in the event of a power failure. It also allows us to optimise the use of photovoltaic power during off-peak hours.
Conscious use of resources
Don’t waste, reuse – not just an empty phrase, but something we have practised since our foundation.
What we all take for granted in our everyday lives, we also apply in our corporate environment: Minimising and reusing packaging materials, conscious water and electricity consumption, energy-saving lighting, raising awareness of resource conservation among our employees.
CO2-neutral postal dispatch
MED TRUST strives to minimise its environmental footprint when delivering to our customers.
Through a series of measures, Austrian Post has been delivering all consignments in Austria in a CO2-neutral manner since 2011 – transparent, measurable and with TÜV-certified compensation through climate protection projects. This makes Austrian Post the partner of choice for MED TRUST.
Art and culture
Art and culture are an expression of human creativity and equally important elements of a vibrant society. Facilitating access to art and culture is therefore an important contribution. To this end, the Sammlung Werner Trenker continuously provides works of art that are made accessible to a wider public through exhibitions in national and international museums.
The importance of art and culture is often overlooked. Art is essential for the reflection and development of a society. Especially when we think about the responsibility to preserve and prepare it for future generations. The preservation of our cultural heritage forms a further basis for the social commitment of the Sammlung Werner Trenker.
